Although Final Fantasy XIII has been released internationally for less than a week, there are already rumors circulating about a possible sequel to Square-Enix's most recent installment of the series.
During an interview with Dutch OPM Kitase stated,"In the past three years we worked both on the world and on the various systems. Creating these systems isn't very glamorous and can frankly be a bit boring. If we could do a XIII-2, we could direct all our attention to the story and refine what we have already built."
Could Final Fantasy XIII-2 be in consideration already?

Stay tuned for more updates, with the next one being based around the Final Fantasy X game!

A message from Final Fantasy XIII director Motomu Toriyama has been released today.
In his message he communicates his anticipation for the worldwide release of the 13th installment in the Final Fantasy franchise and addresses Final Fantasy XIII's "linear" gameplay.

He explains that the begining of the game, which takes place in Cocoon, was developed to be drama and character driven to ensure that the player was able to connect with the story and characters with minor interruptions. They made the gameplay linear to help ease players into the battle system and to learn about the character's skills and strengths in battle. Motomu Toriyama states that the second part of the game, which takes place in Gran Pulse, is designed to be less linear and more exploratory driven.

Tomorrow I will add the Final Fantasy 10 characters as well as 2 or 3 more page revamps.
