Our tale begins.
As war looms on the horizon, the mighty Archadian Empire begins a camppaign to subjugate its neighbours. The small kingdom of Dalmasca shares their fate.
Two years after its fall, in the capital city of Rabanastre, the people line the streets to wait for the appointment of the new consul from Archadia.
To Vaan, a young man living on the streets of Rabanastre, the Empire is a hated enemy who took the life of his brother, the only family he had left. Vaan hatches a plot to break into the palace and take back the spoils of conquest from Dalmasca's occupiers.
He gets more and more than he bargained for when he meets Princess Ashe, the sole surviving heir to the Dalmascan throne, tought dead since the war.
Our story follows Ashe, Vaan and his friend Penelo, the sky pirate Balthier, and his partner Fran. Accompanying them is Basch, a captain of the Dalmascan army, who turned traitor and slew his king.
Join them on an adventure spanning Ivalice that traces the mysteries behind the Archadian Empire' s invasion.

The production of Final Fantasy 12 started back in 2001, and it' s release has been postponed at least 4 times. Final Fantasy 12 takes place in ivalice, just like Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy Tactics, and knows Espers, just like Final Fantasy 6. Final Fantasy 12 is considerd to be one of the biggest, best and most beautifull games on the Playstation 2. The best thing about Final Fantasy 12 is the battle system. They' ve completely removed random encounters, and instead they did a battle system, which resembles Final Fantasy 11.

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Final Fantasy, and the creation of the Ivalice Allience, Square Enix rereleased Final Fantasy 12. This game falls under the Ivalice Allience, and contains several new functions. The new job system is called the Zodiac Job system, and in stead of having 1 lisence board, you get 12 boards, matching your job. Futhermore guest characters and summons can be controlled by the player now, and you can adjust game speed bij pressing the L1 button.
